a minimum of one year's driving experience.

can be made by major credit cards or in euros
cash when you collect the car.

When driving in Portugal, you are obliged by law
to carry with you at all times the following documentation:
your identity card or passport
your driving licence
your insurance documents or hire agreement
Failure to do so can result in on-the-spot fines
