All apartments are self-catering and are equipped
and furnished in a similar style and to the same high standard throughout.
There are two houses with
accommodation on two floors (see AP1 and AP2 on the floorplans). There is a
ground floor apartment (AP3) and a first floor apartment (AP4).
The first house (AP1) has two double
bedrooms upstairs, one with en-suite shower room. Down stairs there is a further
bedroom with double sofa bed. The down stairs bathroom has both a bath and
separate shower. There is a large combined lounge/kitchen and dining room.
The second house (AP2) has one
double and one twin bedroom upstairs and a separate bathroom with a shower/bath.
Down stairs there is a further bedroom with double sofa bed. There is a down
stairs shower room. There is a large combined lounge/kitchen and dining room.
The ground floor apartment (AP3) has
one double bedroom and a second bedroom with bunk beds where the lower bunk is a
double. There is a shower room and a large combined lounge/kitchen and dining
room.
The first floor apartment (AP4) has
one double bedroom and a second bedroom with bunk beds where the lower bunk is a
double. There is a shower room and a large combined lounge/kitchen and dining
room.
All the kitchens are modern, fitted
and fully equipped for great self-catering.
On the south side of the building -
facing the lake and the sea - all rooms have full length glass doors opening out
onto terraces or balconies, gaving fantastic light and great views.
Each house/apartment has free-to-air UK TV
and Sky channels, CD and DVD players. There is wireless internet access in all.
For the winter, each house/apartment has a
great 'Bullerjan' log heater in the lounge.
There is a communal laundry room for
the use of all guests.
All the houses/apartments can be open up
into one another in different combinations for larger parties.
What outside spaces and
facilities are there ?
The two houses
both have a wide upstairs balconies with views over the lake, the countryside and
to the sea.
The upstairs
apartment has balconies both front and back with similar views and outside
dining.
Both the houses
and the ground floor apartment have terraces at the rear and in front, which
open onto the lake shore and the swimming area. There are dining tables and
chairs on the front terraces.
Sun beds and
parasols are provided at the swimming area on the lake shore. The lake will also
fascinate adults and children alike with its wildlife, especially the frogs and
birds that it attracts.
At the rear of
the accomodation is a private parking area and a lawned area for games.
You are also
welcome to go and see the chickens, the pigeons and doves if you wish.
You are surronded
by countryside in which you can freely walk and explore.

Change-over
days are flexible. Standard check-in time is 16:00 hrs (4pm) and check-out time is 10.00 hrs (10am).
For how long can we stay ?
The minimum stay is 7 nights. You
can stay one, two or more weeks.
How close are the nearest food
shops ?
The nearest food shops are at
St.Luzia, a 15 minute
walk or short car ride away. Supermarkets are in
Tavira, a 5 or 10 minute car ride away.
How close is the nearest
restaurant ?
There is a host
of good restaurants close by in St.Luzia.
Quintamar is
ideal if you just wish to kick back and relax and do very little at all, or if
you want a beach holiday, or as a centre from which to explore the
Eastern Algarve. It
offers something for everyone, adults and children alike.
Quintamar is in
the country so a car is useful, but it is close enough to St.Luzia and the
beaches to survive on foot if you like walking (and can handle the heat in
summer).
How far is Quintamar from the
airport ?
Quintamar is about a 35 minute
drive from Faro airport.
Can we smoke in the house ?
No. Ash trays are provided
for smoking outside.
