The accommodation is all in a newly built town house on the river. The ground floor of the building is taken up by a small and excellent bistro run by the owners. The rental accommodation is on the two floors above this and has its own entrance at the back of the building.

The self-contained apartment for two is on the top floor. To the front is the lounge, dining and kitchinette area. Full length glass windows open onto a balcony over-looking the river. The room is eastwards facing and so catches the morning sun. The kitchinette is equipped for limited self-catering. There is Satellite TV, a DVD player and a washing machine. There is a double bedroom at the rear, complete with fitted wardrobe and views over Tavira's characteristic roof tops from the balcony. There is a large, attractive bathroom.

On the first floor, there is another bedroom with twin beds and balcony over-looking the river. Additionally, there is another  bedroom for one and  a shower room. The first floor accommodation can only be booked in addition to the top floor apartment for parties requiring more than one bedroom.

The accommodation throughout is modern with artistic decoration and original art on the walls. Very cool.

Dates are flexible but have to fit with existing bookings. Standard check-in time is 15.00 and check-out 11.00

For how long can we stay ?

The minimum stay is 7 nights.

How close are the nearest food shops ?

Tavira's great fresh food market is just a short stroll away, as are other food shops in the town centre. The nearest supermarket is a ten minute walk across the river.

How close is the nearest restaurant ?

On the ground floor ! Tavira's many other restaurants are also all located within 5 mintues walking distance.

How close is the nearest beach ?

The nearest beach is at Tavira. The boat to the beach leaves from right outside the door in high season.

Do we need to hire a car ?

No. We can arrange taxi transfer to and from the airport for you.

How far is Casa O Porto from the airport ?

Casa O Porto is about a 35 minute drive from Faro airport.

Can we smoke in the house ?

No. Ashtrays are provided for smoking outside.
