It is situated close to the market town of São Brás, its hinterland of hills, and to the historic village of Estoí.

What is the accommodation like ?                        Floorplan                        Facilities

The centre of the house is a large, open-plan lounge, dining room and kitchen. Behind this, on the ground floor, is a double bedroom with adjacent shower room and a twin bedroom with adjacent shower room and doors opening out onto the pool terrace. There is also a small library room with a mezzanine day bed. Accessed by a staircase from the pool terrace, there is a further twin bedroom with adjacent shower room and logia overlooking the pool terrace.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering, with hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster. There is a door to the shaded south terrace.

All the bedrooms are equipped with mosquito nets and fans.

 What outside spaces and facilities are there ?

The shaded south terrace has a dining table and seats. The terrace in front of the house is a cool green space shaded by a vine. To the rear of the house is an extensive terrace area. The part shaded by a roof has a table and seats. There is a large area shaded by a fabulous bougainvillea covered pergola, and under which is a built-in barbeque and an outside dining area. There is a further shaded area where you can relax on sun loungers. In the centre, there is a 8m x 4m pool, surrounded by a lush garden and with its own pool house complete with WC and shower. The combination of outside spaces offer very comfortable al-fresco living throughout the summer.

The change over day is Saturday. Standard check-in time is 15.00hrs and check-out time11.00 hrs. Off season, we are flexible.

For how long can we stay ?

The minimum stay is seven nights, with high season bookings restricted to whole weeks. Out of season, you can stay any number of nights more than seven.

How close are the nearest food shops ?

The nearest food shops are in the town of São Brás, 1.5Km away. There are several good supermarkets including a large 'Intermarché' and a small daily market selling fresh fruit, vegetables and fish. 

How close is the nearest restaurant ?

There is a great local restaurant 1.4 km from the house, with many more just 5 minutes drive away in and around São Brás. 

How close is the nearest beach ?

The nearest beach is at Fuzeta, a 20 minute drive away.

What is there to do ?

Casa Cristina is a beautiful and peaceful house in which to take time out and relax, so we suggest you do just that.

Do we need to hire a car ?

Yes. Casa Cristina is in the country, so a car is essential.

How far is the airport ?

Faro airport is only about 30 minutes drive away.

Can we smoke in the house ?

No. Ashtrays are provided for smoking outside.
