Hiring a car for your holiday is a must for most of our country houses and will give you much more freedom to explore eastoffaro. If you are flying into Faro, you can book your hire car through eastoffaro.com, whether or not you are staying in one of our holiday houses. The car hire representitive will meet you in the arrivals hall and your car will be waiting for you in one of the car parks just a 2 minute walk from the terminal. Our cars are all new, and - best of all - you pay far less than you would do with the 'big-name' companies.  Also, in the event that you do have any problems, our 'after sales' service is excellent (which is more than can be said for some !). • unlimited mileage

• Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW) - no client excess (in Portugal only) *

• 25 Euros delivery/collection between Monte Gordo and Albufeira

* The insurance does not cover: vandalism (such as any damage inside the car), tyres, wheels, windows, windscreen wipers, wing mirrors, punctures, lost keys, lost car documents, any accident or damage caused under the influence of alcohol or drugs, wrong fuel usage.

Extras available that are not included in the basic price:

• personal accident insurance is available for 2,50 euros per day per car
• baby/booster seats available for 25 euros per car rental
• collection of cars from flights with scheduled arrivals after 22:00hrs are subject to an additional charge of 22 Euros.
• insurance for driving in Spain is available for 6 Euros per day.

Conditions:

• drivers must be over 21 years of age, have a valid driving license and have a minimum of two year's driving experience.
• all prices are pro-rate per day.

Payment: can be made by major credit cards or in euros cash when you collect the car.

Please note: When driving in Portugal, you are obliged by law to carry with you at all times the following documentation:

• your driving license
• your identity card or passport  
• your insurance documents or hire agreement

Failure to do so can result in on-the-spot fines if stopped by the police.
