Description (Property Reference: 176) Casa Felicidade is tucked away on the edge of Santa Luzia town, and yet is within walking distance of restaurants and the water front of Santa Luzia. It makes an ideal base from which to venture out to the local beaches of Santa Luzia and Baril, or to the neighbouring town of Tavira.

What is the accommodation like ?

The villa has two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with 3 singles. The 3 singles can be made into a double and a single. On the first floor there is a shower room, and on the ground floor there is a shower room and a bathroom. The lounge has a satellite television and is open to the kitchen/dining area. The kitchen is well equipped for a self catering holiday. There is a small utiliy room. From the kitchen one can access the outside areas.

What outside spaces and facilities are there ?

From the small road, the large yellow gates open onto the driveway, with the villa set back some distance away. There is plenty of space to park several cars. At the rear of the villa, you have your own private pool, with an adjacent sun terrace. The pool measures 6m x 3m and is 1.05m to 1.5m deep. The under-cover terrace has a built-in barbeque and shaded dining area. Take the curved staircase to the upper terrace, and there is a door leading into the second bedroom. A spiral staircase leads up to the roof terrace for an even more impressive view of the surroundings. The villa sits in 2500 square metres of mature gardens.

What is it like walking from the property ?

Immediately outside the garden gates is a track which after a short distance becomes a made-up road. 

How close is the nearest beach ?

Walking from the villa, it will take minutes to walk approximately 800m to the shoreline. From here you can take a small ferry over the water to the Ocean beach. You can see the Santa Luzia beach on our short video.

How close are the nearest restaurants ?

The nearest cafe is 350m, and the nearest restaurant is 500m from the villa. There are many others to choose from along the shoreline.

How far is the nearest airport ?

Faro airport is approximately 35 to 40 minutes away.

Do we need to hire a car ?

A car is not absolutely necessary, as you can manage on everything that Santa Luzia has to offer. However, with a hire car, you can venture off to many other lovely beaches or explore inland.

Are children welcome ?

Yes, children will love the villa.

Are pets welcome ?

Sorry, no pets at the villa.

Can we smoke in the property ?

No smoking please. There are ashtrays provided for outside smoking.

On which day(s) can we arrive/leave ?

It is a flexible change-over day, but must fit in well with existing bookings.

Is there a minimum/maximum length of stay ?

7 nights is the minimum rental, but you will probably want to stay longer !.
