What is the accommodation like ?The entrance door opens to the lounge, which has a fireplace and a satellite TV. The lounge leads into a dining area, open plan to the kitchen. This is equipped for your self catering needs. The hallway from the dining area, leads to a double bedroom which faces west, and next to it a large bathroom. At the end of the hallway is the twin bedroom with a south facing window. Turning left, is another double bedroom looking out onto the barbeque area, and this bedroom has its own small shower room. You can see the layout clearly by looking at the floor plan. The inside of the farmhouse is approximately 119 m² (1,281ft²). Around three sides of the farmhouse is a large terrace - plenty of space to sit and relax, either in the sunshine or in the shade of the gazebo. There are stairs from the terrace to a large roof terrace, from where you can get an even better view of the surroundings ! Opposite the farmhouse (on the north side), are farm buildings used for storage, and one where the farm-hand and his wife live. For most of the time, you will most likely not see or hear anyone, on the whole of the farm. If you do happen to meet anyone, it will probably be the farm-hand, his wife, or the farm manager...who is probably just passing by to give you some oranges ! 80 metres from the farmhouse is the large pool with inside measurements of 17m x 7m. That's 56 feet x 23 feet - plenty of room for the 6 of you ! What is it like walking from the property ? Well, you can wander down to the pool, (that's 80 metres away), or if you walk in the opposite direction, you will walk out of the orange grove and within 15 to 20 minutes, you will be in Moncarapacho town. Fuzeta beach is the nearest beach, 10 to 12 minutes by car, but with your car you can drive to the many lovely beaches in the eastern Algarve. In Moncarapacho town there are several small supermarkets. For your bigger shop, you can visit Olhão or Tavira. There are several restaurants and many small cafés in Moncarapacho. Faro airport is 25 minutes away. Although the farmhouse is only a mile from Moncarapacho, where you could buy all your provisions, we recommend a hire car as there is so much to experience in this part of the Algarve. Relax, swim, relax and swim ! Yes children are welcome, they will love the pool, under your supervision of course as the pool is 80 metres from the farmhouse. No pets, sorry. No smoking in the farnhouse please, there will be ashtrays outside on the terrace. Arrival and departure days are flexible, but must fit in well with existing bookings. The earliest check-in time is 16:00 hrs and the latest check-out time is 11.00 hrs 7 nights is the minimum, but you can stay as long as you like.
