Situated on the edge of a small village, with views across the country to the sea, the villa is ensconced within garden walls and mature flowering shrubs. If you stir from the pool or shaded terrace, you will find - all within a ten minute drive - the exceptional golf course of Quinta da Ria, the charming village of Cacela and the wonderful beach at Manta Rota. What is the accommodation like ?

Lidia's Villa was renovated to a very high standard throughout, for a large part of the year it is the home of the owners, thus it is very comfortable and very well equipped. Lidia's Villa sleeps a maximum of four, but is perfect for a family or a couple. There is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom (both with fitted wardrobes) . There is a shower room with WC. The attractive lounge at Lidias' Villa is equipped with a 42" flat screen TV, Skybox, DVD/CD Player and an ipod docking station. There is a large modern kitchen and dining room, fully equipped for self catering holidays in the Algarve.

What outside spaces and facilities are there ?

There is a large and lovely shaded terrace for the summer, from which you look out onto the swimming pool and a view to the sea. There are chairs and table for outside dining as well as chairs for relaxation - in the sun or shade. There is also a shower room and WC off the terrace. The pool is 5m x 6m, with corner entry steps. There is a small roof terrace for views of the stars at night. 

How close is the nearest beach ?

The nearest baches are at Fabrica (five minute drive), Manta Rota, Lote (ten minute drive)

How close are the nearest food shops ?

There is a good small supermarket and a daily produce market five minutes away in Vila Nova da Cacela. There is another small supermarket close by. There are larger supermarkets and commercial centers a ten minute drive away. 

How close are the nearest restaurants ?

There are two restauarants in Cacela Velha and several more in Vila Nova and Manta Rota - all within a ten minute drive. Near-by Cabanas and Tavira offer an array of restaurants, many of which specialise in seafood. 

How far is the nearest airport ?

Lidia's Villa is about 45 minutes drive from Faro airport

Yes, Lidia's Villa is in the country, so it is essencial to get about. See our car hire. 

What is there to do ?

Lidia's Villa is in the country so there are no organised activities near by. Lidia's Villa is the perfect place to just relax, enjoy the pool and time out. Beaches and Golf are a short distance away if you want to explore. The self catering villa is an excellent central base from which to discover the Algarve. 

Are children welcome ?

Can we smoke in the property ?

No, Ashtrays are provided for outside.

On which day(s) can we arrive/leave ?

Lidia's Villa has a flexible change over day, to fit in well with existing bookings. The earliest check-in time is 16:00 hrs and the latest check-out time is 11.00 hrs.

Is there a minimum/maximum length of stay ?

The minimum stay is 7 nights. In season, you can stay one, two, three or four weeks.

Are there any dangerous/safety features for small children ?
