Description (Property Reference: 156) Pezinhos Villa is one of our more modern and spacious villas in Tavira with all the comforts to make for a comfortable relaxing holiday. It has a 5 x 13m pool, and is located in a pleasant urbanisation just 15 minutes walk from the centre of Tavira, and 5-10 minutes walk from nearby cafes and shops. Its large patio surrounding the pool provides a safe environment with plenty of seating for relaxing and outside dining. Other terraces lead from the bedrooms, kitchen, living room and there is a rooftop terrace with far reaching sea views beyond Tavira. We have several villas in this area and Pezinhos, being one of our larger villas is well situated for reaching the many beautiful beaches, golf courses and other attractions that this part of the Algarve has to offer.

What is the accommodation like ?

From the entrance door is a large entrance hall. There is a double bed to the right, with sliding patio doors onto the front terrace. To the left is a twin bedroom and straight ahead is a downstairs bathroom (with bath). Further ahead to the left is a spacious lounge and dining area with patio doors leading onto a terrace with sea views. To right of the lounge is the large kitchen also with dining table and sliding patio leading onto a shaded terrace. The terrace has outdoor dining and seating, with a brick-built barbeque and sink. Upstairs to the right, is a double room with sliding patio doors onto a terrace with a sea view. To left on the landing is a double bedroom also with a patio door onto another terrace. Further to the left is a double bedroom with ensuite (with bath), and that has sliding patio doors to the another terrace. Further round the landing is a bathroom with a spa bath. A door from the landing leads to another terrace with good sea views.

What outside spaces and facilities are there ?

Four of the bedrooms have terraces with plenty of space for seating. The pool is 5 x 13m with an outdoor dining table by the pool. The villa's pool can be accesssed from the front of the house or via the lower staircase. There is also a cloakroom near the pool.

What is it like walking from the property ?

As far as villas go, walking to Tavira is very easy. The villa is an an urbanisation which is only 5 to 10 minutes walk by road to Tavira.

How close is the nearest beach ?

Tavira has the nearest beach. A 5 minute drive, or a 15 minute walk will take you to where you can catch the ferry to the beach. See Tavira beach.

How close are the nearest food shops ?

The nearest large supermarket on the outskirts of Tavira, is a couple of minutes by car. You are also then very close to the large new undercover shopping mall.

How close are the nearest restaurants ?

Restaurants in Tavira are a 5 minute drive, or a 15 minute walk.

How far is the nearest airport ?

Faro airport is approximately a 40 minute drive.

Do we need to hire a car ?

It is not necessary to have a car, but if you will be walking into Tavira, bear in mind that it can be hot in the summer months. A hire car will give you the opportunity to explore further afield. This part of the coast has many fine beaches, (and towns), but you will need a car to get to them.

What is there to do ?

The villa is compact and yet has lots of space to relax in. Tavira is very close and is a hive of entertainment in the summer months.

Are children welcome ?

Yes, children are most welcome.

Can we smoke in the property ?

No smoking in the villa please. Ashtrays are provided for outside smoking.

On which day(s) can we arrive/leave ?

Like many of our villas, arrival and departure days are flexible.

Is there a minimum/maximum length of stay ?

As with all our villas and apartments, 7 days is the minimum length of stay, but there is no maximum.

Are there any dangerous/safety features for small children ?

The pool is not fenced, so children must be supervised near the pool.
