What is the accommodation like ?

Upon entering the front door, to the left is a large lounge and dining area. The lounge has an open fireplace and patio doors to the terrace. Steps up from the lounge lead to a further dining area with patio doors leading onto an inner courtyard. The kitchen adjoins this dining area and has a door onto the pool terrace. From the front door, there is a hallway on the right hand side leading to a twin bedroom, with sea views. Next in the hallway is a bathroom with a shower, then there is a further twin bedroom, and further on is the last twin bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with bath.

What outside spaces and facilities are there ?

There is a 5 x 8m pool situated on the south west side, and has a good view of the sea. The pool has a barbeque area and there are terraces around the house and pool, offering both shade and sunlight to suit all. The grounds occupy more than 2500 m² offering privacy and plenty of space to take in and enjoy the Algarve.

What is it like walking from the property ?

The single drive leads down onto a track and then onto a country road. The surrounding countryside is heather and highland vegetation. This part of the Algarve makes excellent walking country.

How close is the nearest beach ?

Tavira beach is approximately 18km away.

How close are the nearest food shops ?

The nearest food shops are in St Catarina, about a 5 minute drive away.

How close are the nearest restaurants ?

Self catering gives you a choice, the nearest restaurants being only 5 minutes away in St Catarina.

How far is the nearest airport ?

Faro airport is about 40 minutes drive.

What is there to do ?

When self catering in the Algarve, you really do have a lot of freedom. You can spend as little or as much time as you wish at the villa. The surrouding area is beautiful walking countryside. Venture out in the car, and you have a whole host of towns and beaches stretching east and west.

Can we smoke in the property ?

No smoking inside the villa please. Ashtrays are provided for outside smoking.

Arrival and departure days are flexible.

Is there a minimum/maximum length of stay ?

The minimum stay is 7 nights self catering. However, you'll want to stay longer once you have experienced the Algarve. There is no maximum duration.

Are there any dangerous/safety features for small children ?

The pool is un-guarded and should be supervised at all times.
